Terrell Richardson, a JMSW student was accepted to the Council on Social Work Education 2021-2022 Master’s Fellowship Program (MFP).

This is a highly recognized and competitive fellowship. The purpose of the program is to reduce health disparities and improve behavioral health-care outcomes for racially and ethnically diverse populations.

The fellowship is designed to increase the number of culturally competent master’s-level behavioral professionals to serve racial/ethnic minority populations.

Dr. Sharon Parker, Mr. Richardson’s mentor, had this to say, “Mr. Richardson, as an MFP alumnus, I thank you for representing the JMSW program. I am very proud of you and look forward to your continued professional contributions to social work. We celebrate you!!!!!”
